Four-step verification

How verification works

The bot sends a private one-time link. Authentication happens only on Riot Games' domain. The callback confirms PUUID and platform, then the bot updates roles.

  1. Click in Discord

    A private verification link remains valid for 10 minutes.

  2. Sign in with Riot

    Your password goes only to Riot Sign On, never to Moon Poro.

  3. Riot confirms the account

    We receive the PUUID, Riot ID and League platform needed for the link.

  4. The bot assigns roles

    Discord receives verified, region and current Solo/Duo rank roles.

Privacy

Data stored by Moon Poro

The access token exists in memory for only the requests needed to identify the account. Passwords, access tokens, ID tokens and refresh tokens are never stored.

We retain

  • Discord user and guild IDs
  • Riot PUUID and platform
  • verification method and time
  • limited, audited administrator lookups

We do not retain

  • Riot passwords
  • RSO tokens
  • Riot account email addresses
  • advertising or browsing profiles
