How Riot Sign On will work
After RSO launches, the bot will send a private one-time link. Authentication will happen only on Riot Games' website, then the bot will update roles after confirming the account.

The bot creates a private verification link valid for 10 minutes.
Sign in with Riot
Your password goes only to Riot Sign On, never to Moon Poro.
Riot confirms the account
Moon Poro receives the Riot ID and League platform needed for the link.
The bot assigns roles
Discord receives verified, region and current Solo/Duo rank roles.
Privacy
Data stored by Moon Poro
Moon Poro never receives a Riot password. After RSO launches, its access token will exist only in memory and will not be written to the database.

- Riot PUUID and platform
- verification method and time
- limited, audited administrator lookups

- Riot passwords
- RSO tokens
- Riot account email addresses
- advertising or browsing profiles
